Abstract
There was a research of 240 samples of natural turquoise and its various imitations, which are commonly found on the Ukrainian market in order to improve the diagnostic techniques and to create a database based on such a research: the density, the index of refraction, microscopic studies, XRF, IR spectroscopy, X-ray spectral electron-probe microanalysis, research in thin sections.
