Abstract The article deals with the creativity of the Ukrainian jeweler Yuri Plekhanov, who works with various minerals, creating original, artistically finished products. Having geological education, Yuri mastered various types of stone cutting, providing himself with the necessary material base, independent of commercially available materials. He has the ability to perfectly follow his sketches, creating the right forms of minerals. The search for the composition of the product is based on consideration of natural motives – animals, plants, landscapes; as well as the author’s comprehension of the infinite movement of the universe and the renewal of life. |
