| Abstract The article contains a brief description of the new methodology certification of polished diamonds, developed by the State Gemological Centre of Ukraine. The methodology is based on the reconstruction of the anatomy of the initial diamond crystals in their UV-ontogenic growth figures. These figures are unique for each of the diamond crystal. They can be used for identification purposes like a «fingerprint». It shows the structure of the methodology and directions for its use. |
