Abstract
The article discusses the methods and results of petrographic identification of labradorite, including the examination of their mineral and textural characteristics. Using petrographic methods allows distinguish various types of labradorite and define their geological relationship. Optical microscopy techniques helps to determine main features of these rocks as well as enable the differentiation of labradorite varieties and their trade names based on their microscopic and macroscopic characteristics. Collected data are going to be used in marketing research.
Keywords: labradorite, petrographic methods, optical microscopy methods, trademarks, rocks, SGCU.
