REFLECTIONS OF THE SURROUNDING WORLD EMBODIED IN SFURATO JEWELRY

Abstract
This article is a continuation of the cycle of works, where the trend of using minerals in natural, unprocessed forms for the manufacture of jewelry is considered. Minerals of natural forms, which have not undergone processing at all or only partially, have relatively recently become popular among jewelry artists and connoisseurs of jewelry. Naturalness, lack of intervention accentuated the uniqueness of the products, emphasized the impossibility of exact serial repetitions. This led to the development of single frame concepts that should interact with the inserts as harmoniously as possible. Decorations of the wartime in one way or another reflect the events surrounding the artists and their inner meaning. It can be said that the horror of wartime passes through the prism of the author's perception and appears in powerful symbolic outlines, designed either to convey to the whole world the significance of certain events, or to instill hope for the better in the direct participants of these events. In our works, Ukrainian art from the beginning of the full-scale invasion was repeatedly considered: the peculiarities of artistic interpretations of military symbols, ancient charms, illustrative ornaments, memes, and the realization of wishes were revealed. In this article, we will acquaint readers with the features of jewelry of the Ukrainian brand SFURATO, which appear against the background of a reflexive perception of wartime events. The founder of the brand, Kateryna Tuterova, a native of Crimea, always dreamed of working in the field of fashion. The desire to create its own brand coincided with the times of a full-scale invasion, and, as a result, a prolonged depression. It was jewelry creativity that helped the artist to master herself and pour out her emotions in metal, decorating raw minerals with it. According to Kateryna, the main factor for choosing minerals is their origin: she chooses minerals mined in Ukraine for inserts.
