Abstract
The article describes the results of gemological studies of semiprecious stones imitations made of composite and ceramic materials, which presented on the Ukrainian jewelry market. It was determined and specified the diagnostic features, carried out the optical-microscopic examination, examination by X-ray fluorescence analysis and IR- Fourier spectroscopy.
